Vegan Family Grocery Haul (VIDEO)

Vegan grocery haul alert!

In this haul, I use Instacart to bring groceries to our house while I worked on a project.

Instacart is amazing! You just use the app to order and pay for your groceries, and they send someone to shop and deliver the food to you.

In this grocery haul, I spent about $200 at Whole Foods.

Of course, you don't have to shop at places like Whole Foods to be vegan -- Wal-Mart, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Kroger and Aldi all have vegan options.

Did you notice how I butchered "Worcestershire" in this video? After filming, I watched a YouTube tutorial, and practiced saying it for 15 minutes. I can finally pronounce it right now! At least I think so lol

Trader Joe's Grocery Haul | Vegan Family Meal Planning

I spent $131.05 on this grocery haul from Trader Joe's...

Wegmans is still my all-time fave grocery store, but since Trader Joe's is right down the street, so I stopped in there to do our shopping.

I picked up ingredients to make vegan macaroni & cheese, green juice, buffalo cauliflower, pizza (using pre-made dough, vegan cheese, onion & green pepper) and plenty of snacks for the boys.

Watch the video here....

Products mentioned:

Trader Joe’s vegan cheese (not worth buying)
Vegetable masala burger
Cookie Butter (yeah, it's vegan)
Trader Joe’s brand hummus salad dressing

Grocery Haul & What's Always On My Grocery List (VIDEO)

It's time for another grocery haul! This time I went to the store with my camera and Brandon.

I forgot to hit record (more than once), so I missed a lot of great footage of Bran loading up the cart with produce. Major FAIL.

I did remember to take pictures of what we picked up and put together a short vlog with the footage I did get.

We spent $113.43 on this grocery trip.

I plan to make bean enchiladas, vegetable stir-fry, kale chips, green juice, chickpea salad sandwiches, vegetable quesadillas & lentils and rice. The boys will snack on pineapple, strawberries, carrots & hummus and blueberry & banana smoothies.

Items that are always on my grocery list:

Come to the Grocery Store With Me #2

A few days ago, I went to grocery store with the KIDS, NO grocery list and a camera. Umm, yeah.  I was about that life!

I just tried to stick to items that we buy often-onions, garlic, beans, fresh fruit, rice, bagels, seasonings, cashews & walnuts (for raw vegan desserts), avocados, green leafy vegetables, tofu, tempeh, and a couple of bags of frozen vegetables.

Even though the kids distracted me a bit and Jason (my oldest) wanted to leave on more than one occasion, it wasn't too bad. I spent $150 on this grocery trip.

Here's the recipe for the homemade ice cream I mention in the video.
